BRUTTIUM. The Brettii. Circa 216-214 BC. Drachm (Silver, 19 mm, 4.92 g, 8 h). Diademed and draped bust of Nike to right; to left, goose (?) standing right. Rev. BPETTIΩN River god Aisaros standing front, crowning himself with his right hand and holding scepter in his left; in field to right, monogram. Arslan p. 149, dies 67/92'. HN Italy 1963. Scheu S54a. Beautifully toned. Minor marks and with some weakness on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
